CleanLink Mobile

CleanLinks' new Mobile Module is a leap forward and adds an innovative extension to the core CleanLink.
CleanLink Mobile allows managers to carry up to date site information, do site audits, receive instructions i.e. visit a site, meet client, take a staff photo and make a stores order.

All connections are through CleanLinks' new Web Service.

The mobile can be a PDA, Pocket PC or Handheld, but whichever you choose it must run Microsoft's ® Windows Mobile 5 or 6 with a Touch Screen.
Windows Mobile 5/6 includes Outlook, Tasks, Calendar, Contacts, Pocket Word and Excel. If your choice is a basic device with no phone (so no cellular charges), remote connections are made by Wi-Fi hotspots or docking with an internet connected PC. When a cellular connection is available the device is truly roaming.
Information when returned can be incorporated into CleanLink after human authentication.
You choose and purchase the device on which to run CleanLink Mobile. If you require true remote connections you also require a mobile Internet connection (see Technical Help).

When choosing the device, consider which of the following features are required:
GPRS/GSM - for phone and to receive and send instructions while roaming.

Camera - to photograph problems and staff pictures for security badges.

GPS - for Satellite Navigation e.g. Help guide managers to Sites and for tracking.

Wi-Fi - for remote connections if no GPRS/GSM

Barcode/RFID - to read tags or scan codes on buildings or PAT testing.

CleanLink Mobile safeguards data held on the mobile by erasing the data when:

The password is entered incorrectly 3 times.
The device receives the instruction 'Wipe Mobile' from you.
CleanLink Mobile has not been used for a specified number of days.
